That looks quite cold on that canal! But I can see where it would be fun doing some ice skating. We do have ice skating rinks here in sunny southern california, but skating down a canal could be fun (better than going in circles)

One goes to Germany for a weekend to train on being a cat show judge - I'm almost dome with the training - if all goes well, be September I will be all done and able to judge shows as a probationary position. One of the recommended training locations is Asia or Europe - recommended really means required in this case! It's been quite the program, but I've sure learned a lot about different cat breeds. That's mostly why I've been gone most the time - off around the country or local doing trainings - 32 done of 40 so far...

The work in the Borderland sounds very exciting! Lots of opportunity for publishing there - I'm sure there's lots to be at risk out there.. are you working with Mark Legg at all?
