The link I have here presumes the creep rate for Elsinore fault to be 1mm to 5mm per year. There are 7 sections to the fault. You are probably right about the lack of data about all segments of the fault. They did place a gps about 400 meters from my home on a hill top. Not sure if this is part of a gps campaign or they are looking at the Elsinore in particular. Next time we hike up there I will write down all the info from the instrument.

Can't hike up there now though. 2 feet of snow on the ground and the stuff froze hard. Haven't seen a start to winter like this in these mountains since 1964. I'll get back with more..
