Hi Pavel, Theories that I am presently evaluating propose that earthquake forecasting computer programs that I have developed during the past decade probably work by linking electromagnetic pulse generation times and earthquake occurrence times with what might best be described as the Tide Generating Force. You are undoubtedly well aware of what that force is. Most of the rest of us have rather sketchy ideas about it. My computer program equations were developed based on a certain amount of theory information, some good guesses, and a lot of trial and error. Those computer programs should serve as an excellent “shell” or foundation for the easy addition of refinements that would probably include a fair amount of your own work and the work of other researchers such as Jim Berkland. For example, my programs don’t contain any code that specifies that earthquakes are more likely to occur at specific locations at certain times of the month or year. And I believe that available data probably indicate that this type of selectivity is in fact being observed.
