Hi All. Just thought I would put my two bits worth in. Take Care…Don in creepy town.

There are two powers in this world, law and chaos. Everything else is products. Law and chaos simply are.

The Fruit of Chaos

Chaos brings growth. From the beginning, it's always been chaos before major changes. Chaos makes changes. Animals, humans and everything we normally think of as living creatures are products of chaos. The life forms started to conquer the landmasses because of the chaos at the shores - the water went up and down, and the life forms had adapt the ability to breathe.

Chaos brings changes. Bad solutions bring chaos. This means that bad solutions in our world are fixed by chaos. Chaos brings new ideas, new governments and new technology.

One man owns a house. He lives in this house, and he's been living here for many years. There is something he doesn't like about the house. It has no kitchen, and he's got this huge living room which he's never using. One day his house burns down. The man had insurance - so he gets money to rebuild his house. Will he build a exact copy of his former house? -No, of course not.

He builds a house, much like his former house, but with a kitchen and a smaller living room. The chaos, the fire, turned into something good.

Rules are made to be broken. When you break a rule, it's to gain from it. It's the fruit of chaos.

There's one apple tree in the centre of the town which is able to feed the whole town. Everybody in the town are hungry and will do everything to get an apple. But nobody are allowed to take apples from the tree. If you manage to break this rule, will most certainly gain from it. You will harvest the Fruit of Chaos.

The Fruit of Order

Everybody have a need for stability. We need to be protected. We need rules. We need society.

Man is no man without relationships. It's the relationship to others that separates us from other animals. And for a relationship to work we need rules. Take f. ex. the apple tree. Now that you have achieved the apples, you -yourself- need rules to protect your own apples against others. If people look at your example and says "Hey, we can do the same, it's no problem!" Than you have won nothing. Suddenly your back with everybody else, at the same level.

While chaos can bring growth on short- term basis, order is needed for a society to work on a long term basis. Only through order and discipline can you achieve a steady growth over many years.

In a society, people need to feel protected. They need to have friends they can trust and they need people how can stand up for them. They turn towards rules. It's predictable. We like to think we are in charge of our lives. We like to see what's coming, the weather, concerts, politics etc. Therefore will everybody want rules. Somebody want strong rules, and somebody hardly wants rules at all; but everybody wants rules! By rules we're trying to control today and tomorrow.
