ear pressure

A couple of nights ago and then last night I was sitting at the computer and noticed what seemed like air pressure changes or pulses in one ear. I'm posting this because of past interest here in ear tones (this time, not tones). Then, I noticed that the pressure pulses were related to the very slight rolling of the ship. I thought then that the pulses were not real but that my brain was confused by the motion and was making these up. But, then some lowly sedimentologist (shipboard joke) thought it was the fluid in the ear sloshing back and forth. I was mianly interested in this not as anything related to earthquake precursors, but in whether it was related to the mental disfunction that I always have when I am on a ship. I get virtually dyslexic on a ship and it is somewhat frustrating.

I'm sure someone is going to now thing that it is related to the 4.1. Sorry, I don't believe it.
