Well.. I'm in Long Beach and if you look at the shake map - it;s pretty bright yellow here and we did feel it quite well - well enough that I don't cherish the thought of anything stronger!

It started out with small rolling, then stronger kinda circular rolling, then a huge jolt that moved some things around - then lots of rolling afterwards...

Cats all really freaked by it - the upstairs bedroom door opened by itself.. cats tails all quite puffed for about an hour -

I have one cat who was crying beforehand and running on a cat wheel constantly (42 inch diameter wheel - they love it) - and now she's doing it again tonight, just like she was this morning before the quake.. so we'll see if it was coincidence or if it means anything..

It seems to me that the focal mechanism is a left lateral strike with a tad of thrust? Is that right? If so, it may be a new fault - I don't see anything on the fault maps in that area that looks like that..
