I guess you missed a few months ago when Roger's announced that his statistical analysis of our combined list of the largest historic earthquakes had finally had met his test of significance. There was a 99 percentile conformance.
(He has since misplaced his analysis.)

So far this year there have been 16 quakes of at least 6.7M. Twelve were in a Seismic Window and only one was more than 3 days away from a bullseye.
The great China quake was on the last day of my May 4-11 Window as it was still May 11th PST, which is what I go by. (It is ridiculous to use UTC for the Loma Prieta quake, as Bay Area residence know it was not on October 18, 1989.)
After 40 days of no major events, the Okhotsk Sea 7.7M was in my July 1-8, 2008 Seismic Window.
