Re: Fires in Northern California |
The Trabing fire was only a mile from our house. Ten homes were destroyed in beautiful Larkin Valley, and many pets were burned. All the horses got out, thankfully. At one point, the fire was headed right at us, but a shift in the wind suddenly blew it east. I saw big huge, black clouds of smoke just over the hill from us. At first the powers that be thought this fire was the result of an arsonist, but now they are attributing it to eshaust from a car. I don't see how that could cause a fire. Maybe Mike W. can shed some light on this for us. Mike?
