k - so Gary - this is a perfect demonstration of what pisses me off about GW deniers. You quote one or two simple facts which are undoubtedly known to the geophysicists and meteorologists, and then suggest that that is what we need to form an opinion.

Unfortunately for you, those hundreds of experts actually know how to assimilate that fact and do the calculus involved, and still see unmistakeable signs of serious anthropogenically-caused global warming. Unlike you, or the people you might be listening to on Faux News, or Rush Limbaugh or Michael Savage, ad nauseum, these experts actually spend thousands of hours per year thinking about and analyzing the data.

Occasionally the scientific community is wrong, but, as Jimmy the Greek once said: "The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle always to the strong, but that's how to bet 'em."
