Howdy backatcha Glen - The fires that are burning now will be handled just fine and will be extinguished. They are slightly unusal,in terms of location/early season, but not in any way unprecedented in terms of acreage, numbers or property loss. Two years from now almost nobody not a fire professional or one of the tiny portion of California citizens immediately effected will even remember this spate of fires.

You are clearly both over-reacting and making predictions. There is no "culmination of factors" which warrants anything like what your alarmist post is suggesting. Who knows what the immediate future will bring. I don't, and I know that you don't, either.
