Canie...those numbers are almost enough to make me behave...but not quite. Maybe being aware of having some audience will motivate me to actually look things up rather than just try and remember things from long ago. Probably more people (by far?) read my posts here than read my scientific articles. But, hopefully a couple of the better of the scientific articles have some longer-term impact. Maybe the one published last year on Oliocene (34-24 million years) ice sheets in West Antarctica will have the most impact: Climate modelers modifed their models and now can reproduce that while before they could not (or, maybe my work has nothing to do with that).
