Thank you Mike for your salutations. I see from the postings on the syzygy web
site that Jim Berkland has also buried the hatchet (with regard to past disagreements)
with certain members of this board.
It is difficult enough to present a comprehensive and useful picture of earthquake
forecasting/prediction without all the internal bickering and in-fighting, but with it
it seems an impossible task. We should all relish and celebrate this moment when
we are beginning to work together towards a common goal. Let's continue to differ
where it is constructive, but remember we all have a common purpose.
Thanks to all the level heads out there. Go out tonight and celebrate this moment,
these are the times to celebrate.
