I see the model there Brian - but this one a bit different - this had 2 scenarios - one from Parkfield to cajon pass, and the other from salton sea to cajon pass - these were done in conjunction with a structural engineer aimed at seeing what the long period waves would do to the buildings..

Really something for the insurance companies and for building codes - of course, with current building codes, the structures survived a bit better too - or at least didn't collapse..

It appears if the fault does go, we're gonna be shaking for a long time!
