Something tells me it will come much sooner rather than later. I wish I could figure out when. I've been looking at that segment of the San Jac north of the Anza Gap. I think Hemet had a big quake in 1918 or so. But I don't know the recurrence for that sector. We did look at the Elsinore yesterday---Julian sector. And 4 wheeled south along the fault. There is a clear demarcation of geologic specimens across the fault. Transport mechanism is clearly at work here with granitics on the east side and earlier triassic/jurassic schists on the west side. No creep meters out here.....So I don't know what this sector is actively doing. The new GPS is on the west side...and should help tell how much is happeneing here. My guess is they will need 3 to 5 years of data to say for sure...That's just a guess from an am----
