M7.5 SW Pacific

there was a M7.5 near Loyalty Islands, SW Pacific. It was preceded by a couple of M6+s. Lesson from this...something was happening before the large quake, so with all kinds of instrumentation, might have seen some sort of signal in addition to the foreshocks. (not easy to do because remote/oceanic). Just because Parkfield has no precursors (if that is the case) does not mean that other places might not give a "heads up": Cascadia comes to mind.
No focal mechanism yet on line but by location and magnitude, was likely a subduction thrust.
