Garner is probable more famous for his private Eye Tv programs which were great, but to me he was always better in the westerns, both tv and movie that he did over the years. The reason being that the westerns details such as clothing, weapons and the settings of the towns and such seemed to be well researched for period correctness, a lot better that other western tv programs. My Parents would watch his westerns but hardly if ever watched the other westerns.
