The 7.5 is thrust on nearly flat NE-dipping nodal plane consistent with subduction zone: John: did the same part of the same fault slip again? or, was most of the rupture in an area that either did not fial or had almost no slip?

HW (heartland wife) came to bed at 4 AM. No, she was not out partying, she was preparing the lectures for the 2 classes she teaches. I woke up wide awake. Maybe I'm psychic and it was because of the M7.5 (an hour earlier?), but more likely it was the second cup of coffee Tuesday noonish, knowing I have to fly out of Kansas City in a snowstorm tomorrow (and drive 200 km to get to that airport), and that there will be 10 people at a mini-workshop that will need my work that I have not done yet. I'm really an 8 hour a day kind of guy...if I work more, or work too much on the weekend, I just give it back on the Monday, staring at the screen. I need to stop working at all on weekends...just hide the computer and go out dancing...but this field does not lend itself well to 40 hours.
