I watched the entire Republican part of the debate Saturday night and got the impression that McCain was the best of the bunch: of the Republicans, he would make the best president. I don't know if he is right about the Iraq surge, and don't know enough about his other positions (or, know very little), and his age could be a concern going forward (say, when he is 79...): I'm voting in Missouri democratic primary, and have to choose between the top 3, now that Biden has dropped out. Any of the 3 would be a better candidate (not the same as better president) than Kerry was.
