Queen Charlotte quakes and Nevada

There were two M6.5 quakes preceded by a M5.6 foreshock. These were all right-lateral: the same as the San Andreas fault. These quakes were near the northwest corner of the subduction zone, like the San Andreas, the Queen Charlotte is a transform fault that is the Pacific-North American plate boundary. Some thing to think about the next time there is a M5+ Quake on one of the major faults of the wider San Andreas system.

There is something else interesting: 3 minutes 20 seconds after the M5.6, there was a 3.8 in Nevada

9 minutes 23 seconds after the second M6.5 there was a M4.2 in Nevada.

3 minutes 16 seconds after a M5.0 Queen Charlotte aftershock there was a M4.0 in Nevada.

Someone might want to look at the P and S wave travel times.
There are not focal mechnisms yet for the Nevada quakes yet on the USGS site.
