As for science, here is my take:
1: The cluster at about 1.7 deg S latitude right after the March 2005 M8.7 is interesting.
2: The Sept 2007 quakes do not look to have triggered and increase in M5+ quakes north of the equator...there has been a continuous very slowly decreasing amount of then since early 2005.
3: The south end of the Sept 2007 M8.4 seems to be firing off aftershocks recently more than the north end.

A less clear comment:
4: There were only about 2 M5+ quakes between 1 deg S and 4 deg S in almost 2 years before the Sept 2007 quakes. There were many more between 4 deg and 7 deg S in that time interval, with most of those between 4 and 5 deg S (future latitude of epicenter Sept. 2007 M8.4).
