The hinge on my 6 1/2 year-old Dell broke and so I ordered a replacement hinge and cover and left it at the shop. I moved my 2006 fast desktop replacement to my home office from HW's lab and am using that. I had not been moving the 2006 computer because it had to be shipped to the manufacturer twice last fall and I did not have access to it for 2 1/2 months...it seems fragile and unreliable. Both computers are named after the song sung by the crazy computer Hal from 2001 space odyssey. Guess I hurt their feelings.
