I'll agree that the patterns in the water vapor loop that you noticed look like the so called quake clouds you link to..if anything, what was there this morning was more striking (but is much less so now). But, I doubt there is any real science behind so-called earthquake clouds. I'm not saying it is impossible (I don't know): I'm just saying that it is pretty easy, and pretty worthless, to notice unusual clouds and the find some quake nearby and say they are related. It would be rather difficult to a scientific study of clouds and seismicity: it is hard to not be subjective with determining what clouds to include in a statistical study.
The more useful path is to see if research atmospheric scientists have explanations for the various clouds. I imagine they do.
