Heartland daughter got back from college after 8 last evening, so our meal will be today (Friday)...just the 3 of us. HD is a vegetarian, but we will have real turkey anyway (let her eat soy). I have good memories of family Thanksgivings at my grandparents. I always liked Thanksgiving better than Christmas and still do. Cold in the heartland after it was 75 deg. It dropped about 40 degrees for afternoon temperature in 24 hours the other day.
