Earthquake warning and Earthquake Forecasting Program update

EARTHQUAKE WARNING

Two strong earthquake warning type signals were recently detected, one on October 8, 2007 and the other on October 11. I believe that they are probably indicating that some significant earthquake activity is approaching. My Data.html Web page has been updated with information regarding the signals.

They were quite unusual in that they were detected at exactly the same time on each of those days (12:22:00 UTC). I cannot recall that ever happening before.

EARTHQUAKE FORECASTING PROGRAM UPDATE

It required a tremendous amount of time. But I finally managed to get my Perl language earthquake forecasting computer program running with the Gnuplot chart generation program. It took a while to learn how to get the two programs to share data files without either or both of them crashing.

I originally had to work with text data files. Then I managed to get a spreadsheet program to generate charts. And Gnuplot now provides a “real time” capability. Data can be plotted as quickly as the Perl program can generate them.

The results are spectacular! I believe that they clearly show that important events are taking place in earthquake fault zones weeks and months before many of our significant earthquakes occur. And at the moment people in the geology community have no idea that those events are taking place. I believe that this has the potential to open up what might be regarded as an new area of science: using these types of electromagnetic signals as X-rays of a sort in order to learn what is taking place deep within the Earth’s crust.

These are personal opinions.
