Michael, I will have some statistics completed in a day or two. Because there is no a-priori distribution of earthquakes, the best way to do statistics is not at all clear. But many have used the technique of randomizing the dates of earthquakes and doing a series of random tests to see how good the results of the hypothesis are compared with randomly occurring earthquakes. This takes a bit of time.
