My experience with S-Sumatra 8.4M quake

Hi all!

Southern Sumatra 8.4M quake occurred this time is very close to my predicted location of March 28, 2005, 8.5M quake.Hence I guess yesterday itself that there will not be any tsunami considering the its magnitude (first it was assessed as 7.9M + I added 0.5M expecting for revised magnitude) and its location which is more or less the same fault jolted during March 28, 2005. Thank God for no tsunami so far. But still the place is under vigorous activity with 8.1 and 7.2M. The depth of the present 8.4 quake was about 30 KMs comparing with 9.3M was around 10 KMs on 26th Dec. 2004.

If you look at my site ( I left my website as it is and not updated so far for the verification of the viewers about my prediction), youmay see there was no proper or total sunshine over my place because of unusual vigorous monsoon activity for the past two to three weeks. If I left one day reading I could not able to fix the magnitude correctly.

Inspite of that I have given the prediction dt.8th and 9th Sept.'07 as around 5 to 6+M quake over SOUTHERN SUMATERA (3.9S 102.8E) (actual occurrence at 4.3S 101.5E). I also given predictions close to the same area on 3 & 4th Sept.as SUNDA STRAIT (5.8S 105.7E), prediction dt. 23rd August as SUNDA STRAIT (6.07S 104.78E) and recently on 10th Sept. as SOUTHWEST OF SUMATERA (7.1S 103.3E). So all my predictions were focused on this particular area only. So the location and time frame was worked out but the magnitude was missed because of intermittent sunshine.

I conclude that the reason for the missing of the magnitude due to 2 reasons namely,

1. Lack of sunshine at my place which left the precursor unable to register.
2. Since lot of stress accumulation as narrated above on the particular location, may triggered suddenly due to
Solar eclipse on 11th Sept. 2007.

But I have to wait and watch to check the item No.2 in future for its correctness.

Interestingly, if you look at my prediction dt 10th Sept. I posted with very confident over Banda Sea (5.8S 127.6E) because I have registered all consecutive days sunshine shadows and it was came true as listed appropriate Result column.

So, I can claim partial success in the Great quake prediction namely time frame and location.

Thank you for spending your time to listen my experience.
