Rare hit area...

Hello Chris,

Not sure what this means, but that area is very quiet for 4 mag and up. Pulled up the PDE back to 1973 and found this;

Looks like a rare hit area. Not sure about that cluster of quakes in the 70's.
If I make the circular larger, then I run into Whittier Narrows, and the after shock sequence there. Full credit to USGS for the stats.
