Roger, 15 of the great quakes occur in roughly 1/5 of the time----2000 to 2007. That is seven years. The full period is about 34 years, not being to meticulous about the matter. I would say we have entered a "great quake cluster", or then again, we might be leaving it. Statistically speaking, would 15 events in 34 overall events in 1/5 of the time not be significant? Hope I have the numbers right. We cut timber all day yesterday. Just dog tired now.
