Hi all;

I looked at the NEIC database from 1973-2006 for quakes of
mag 6 and up, counting the number of quakes per day.

Usually there was only one but there were some cases where
more than one happened.

I don't know what to use for an expected value. The normal
distribution should fit if quakes are random but we know that
isn't true because of aftershocks.
