That's a pretty dangerous scenario. What is the terrain like behind your access road? If there were a fire, would you be able to escape on foot to get to some other road?

We live at the end of a private road. But we could always run downhill away from the road if the road were blocked by fire. We'd have several acres to cross, but it's not so heavily forested that we couldn't do it if we had to.

When I found this parcel of land to build on, that was one of the things I took into consideration—escape routes in the event of a fire.
