There is a 3-yr pilot system to try out various ways to issue warnings in a combo project with UC Berkeley (google Richard Allen for details) and Caltech, but until they can assess the performance, no actual warnings will be issued. We're now only 1 yr into the 3 yrs.

We intend to build such a system in the Pacific Northwest, but even if it is deemed worthwhile, it will not be working for several years.
