For Michael. Patterson Quake

Hi Michael. The 2.3Md quake 8 miles WSW of Patterson, is most likely associated with the GVF.

There have been some quakes there in the past so by it self this is nothing new. It appears that there is some strain along the fault, but as to how much can’t say for sure.

These quakes may be nothing more then the weak link in the chain. It could be that the faults west of there are locked up tight and it’s affecting the area further east until as such time as there are no more weak links. At present I do not see anything at the USGS sites, but that alone doesn’t mean very much. There are just too many areas not covered by the sites. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
