Question for Petra |
Hi Petra, Indeed it seems you saw the light on triggering along time before the other scientists. I have a question for your opinion. On the link I provided in the other posts about all those personal observations of quakes in the Bay Area every 2 months or so, do you think these quakes were really as strong as some of those observations indicate? I mean, outside of the 6+ quakes that were happening 3x a decade in the 1800s, these almanacs indicate a moderate shake 10 times a year. Do you think maybe because they were not as advanced a society that citizens were feeling even 2+ quakes as well? Back then there were no sirens, tv, buses, honks, electricity, etc. Maybe 2+ quakes were more noticable then. At any rate, if the bay area is about to enter a period of 4 or 5+ quakes every month to 2 months for the next 70 years in addition to any bigger jolts every decade, people are going to flee in droves!
