magnetic storm, Hawaii, Long Valley

There is a little swarm of 3s going on near Long Valley Caldera (California). Hawaii had its volcanic swarm yesterday. A couple of years ago, it was taken as gospel by some that magnetic storms made it more likely that there would be more quakes, or larger quakes, especially in volcanic areas. Roger more-or-less disproved that solar flares triggered larger quakes. Over the last few years, I've seen in my casual, observational, non-scientific way that not much seemed to happen in seismicity after major, severe, or extreme geomagnetic storms. But, I have to point out that there were lower level magnetic storms a couple of days ago (in the red zone, but not high in it, and this is a log scale). Look soon...this will scroll off the link.
