M3.8, 3.9 near San Andreas

There was a 3.8 followed by a 3.9 near the San Andreas fault near San Bernadino. The links to the focal mechanisms are screwed up...message that the website has been moved (but going to the new website did not help. The maps make it look like the quake was a few km SW of the surface trace of the San Andreas fault. I tried the google map option and it looks like a fault, probably at least a strand of the San Andreas, goes just east of a little reservoir there, along the bounday between the hills (northeast) and fill (southwest). There was a M4.0 right-lateral Parkfield aftershock a few days ago also. The San Bernadino segment has not broken since 1857...or maybe 1812...since this is SE of Wrightwood. OK, guess I forget how far SE 1857 went. Chris
