Hi All:

Did a little poking around NEIC for the Kettleman Area. Most interesting cluster was in 08-03-1985 until 08-15-1985, and appears to be associated with a 5.9 about 21Km from the current cluster. Most EQs in the series proceeded the 5.9, ie, aftershocks.

Also, in 1992 there was a 4.3, 3.1, and a 4.2 about 11 days apart at this exact location. There was also a 2.5 later that year. Those were the only 4 EQs in all on 1992 within 10 Km of the present cluster.
