Cathryn...go to www.agu.org and look for meetings. All the abstracts are online and you don't need a login. See my post above on comet impact.
Roger: if you have links to sunspot-earthquake abstracts that you think are interesting, post them here.
All: AGU does not screen abstracts. You can say whatever you want, as long as you fit it in the space and pay the $75 or whatever, and one of the authors is an AGU meeting. I think this is the right way to do things...but it has been under debate because some creation "science" people became AGU members and did abstracts and then claimed that being "published" helped made them credible. I think this is not a major problem at AGU.
