Computer Advice

Howdy,

I'll be shutting down in the next 3 or 4 days because I will be moving. I am going to purchase a new system, and keep this old lunker for an amateur seismic station. I just want (and can get) high speed at the new house through cable. I would like to have something capable of down loading the larger animations that are floating around. Now, I am just getting started on figuring out what to get, and have not really done any shopping as yet. Suggestions?
