I'm sure a few ice ages along the way also helped weigh the continent down and cause sea level changes as well - all part of Mother nature's changing story.

Thanks for the link on Africa. I counldn't find much on it in my textbooks and was surprised when talking about it in class. This helps explain it in more detail.
