Yes, I would agree as well that if there isn't anything to be triggered nothing would occur. But, supposedly, there are a lot of people out there on the stress and/or tectonics boat and something like this can have an impact on any of those kinds of studies in relation to the genesis of an earthquake, e.g., you can't always rely on stress reaching a certain level where an earthquake would occur. - Dennis
