Q for John or Chris, All
Posted by Glen on April 02, 2007 at 21:44:27:

Hello,

I see that there is a very robust aftershock sequence underway near the Solomon 8.1 great quake origin. My question is if it can be determined from the sequence we are seeing how long the rupture zone was for the large quake? If there was a tsunami, we can assume there is a new gouge under that water correct?
Just wondering how long it might be.

Thanx in advance,
Glen
