Shan is a good example of the self-deluded. He believes he has a good method and he doesn't. But when you predict for large areas in seismic regions you're bound to get hits, especially if you're generous with your near-misses. It's easy to convince yourself that there must be something to it, if only you could find the missing key.

Meanwhile, you're scaring the bejeezus out of a lot of people for no good reason.
