Small Quake Near The Quiet Zone

Hi All. I see there was one small quake just south of Portola Valley. This quake is very near the quiet zone, or the “gap” as it’s called in some circles. After the sudden increase in creep at the SJB data, which by the way is returning to normal I wonder if there could be a connection between the two. Seems a little to far to the north, but maybe not. I really don’t know. Take Care…Don in creepy town. 1.2 - duration magnitude (Md) Time Friday, March 30, 2001 at 12:49:01 PM (PST) Friday, March 30, 2001 at 20:49:01 (UTC) Distance from Portola Valley, CA - 5 km (3 miles) SSE (148 degrees) Los Altos, CA - 9 km (6 miles) WSW (239 degrees) Woodside, CA - 11 km (7 miles) SSE (155 degrees) San Jose City Hall, CA - 27 km (17 miles) W (271 degrees)
