San Juan Bautista Data

Hi All. I think things are going to get a little interesting in the Hollister/SJB area. There has been an increase in creep at one site plus a fluctuation in tensor strain. This is the first time I have seen this combination so not sure what it means. Dilational strain also appears to be changing, but not like I have seen it do in the past before a quake.

There is one little problem though. Both data sites are not showing the same thing. One of them is right. Don’t know which one though.

While I haven’t seen it I know there is on record some instances of an increase in creep days, or weeks before a strong quake. This may, or may not be the case this time, but it wouldn’t surprise me any if we did have one in the Hollister area.

I guess I’ll do what I always do when I see something that may mean were about to have an earthquake. I will lean back put my feet up and wait and see what develops.

Could be were going to have some shaking, rattling and rolling and Petra is going to miss it. Take Care…Don in creepy town
