Hi David, The sound came from my left ear, which for me is north. I wasn't a particularly long one, but the interesting part was that after the ear tone came a totally new sound I hadn't heard before. I sounded like the single sound spread out in all directions. I did not know it was for Seattle, but knew it was somewhat more north than CA. I was greatly surprised that it arrived so quickly. This is an interesting new development because I'm finding the sound I hear for Markleville also presents a quake in short order as well, but not as short as the Seattle quake. My confidence level that an unusual quake was coming was 100%, but the where zero. However, I have now learned what a subduction zone earthquake sounds like, so it was a positive experience for me. Let me explain this in an easy way. I'm sure at some time you've seen a picture of a hair folicle. The sound for Seattle would be a folicle in good condition. The one I hear for Markeleville reminds me of the one that needs conditioner, its fuzzy. Petra
