I wouldn't worry too much about getting caught in a Home Depot when it happens. Think of it this way...in all the quakes that have hit CA in the last century, I have never heard of anyone being injured in a Home Depot. It is always the same places, grocery stors, highways, running out of buildings, etc.

Petra and Don, great job in covering these critical areas and what to do, as in the past 20 years alone I can think of hearing how people were hurt or killed in these areas when a strong one hit.
