Hello Roger,

What I found with the whole set was the following;

Total is 227 quakes
Time periods is 24
The average = 227/24 = 9.4533
Basic root mean square = 10.1591
Median = (9 + 10)/2 = 9.5

Total numbers = 24
Mean = 9.45833
Variance (standard) = 14.34601
Standard deviation = 3.78761
Pop. Standard deviation = 3.70787
Variance (Pop Standard dev. = 13.74826

My question now is if the 15 and 17 quake event times are significant because they are more than the standard deviation from the average, the rms, or the mean? Not sure how to consider the variance deviation as yet...

Glen
