One final O/T comment:

After my son returned from the Gulf War, he said that he heard people comment, over and over again, that "we shouldn't have stopped at Kuwait -- we should have gone all the way to Baghdad."

Funny -- since the Iraq War happened, he has never heard that comment again.

It's amazing how fickle and irresolute the American public can be -- on this side of the fence when things are going well; on the other side of the fence when things aren't going so well -- people are quick to "change their spots" or "jump ship" -- a lot of Monday morning quarterbacks or Generals out there.

Ah, the Law of Unintended Consequences!
