All right, I give up. I'll do it and we'll see how much difference it makes. You want sliding windows incrementing in 1 second jumps over a 28 year period. Do you have any idea how many passes that will take or how long it will take to run? For an 8 day window that's 691,200 windows to slide the first window to the start of the original second window. What about the partial windows at the beginning, as the windows move away from the starting date? What about the incomplete coverage at the end? And you expect to do this for each new prediction that comes along? You better have a bigger computer than my 200MHz PC. Also, since this is a DOS program I don't think I can do it without using virtual memory anyway; 30,000 windows is all the memory we have available. It'll take forever to run.
