perhaps an outer rise event

a friend pointed out the link below to me. The initial event in November was the usual thrust event, the later two, including the one yesterday, appear to be normal events, such as can occur from flexure of the subducting plate in the outer rise.

This would also explain the rapid repetition of events in the same place. The thrust event would load up the outer rise for a normal event.
